Best foot forward

Piggott did a good job of hosting KAIT's Good Neighbor Tour this past Tuesday evening. A good crowd turned out at the Hemingway-Pfeiffer Museum for the live broadcasts at 5:00 and 6 p.m., and despite an early shower the weather was tolerable.

All of the KAIT folks that I spoke with were impressed by what our town had to offer, and most promised to come back when they had more time.

If you have never toured the Hemingway-Pfeiffer Museum, or the Karl and Matilda Pfeiffer Museum, you are missing a treat. Make plans yourself to enjoy two of the many attractions that make Piggott the "Cultural Capitol of Northeast Arkansas".

We'll have more details on the Good Neighbor Tour in the July 16 edition of The Piggott Times, plus we'll post a photo slideshow of the event for those who couldn't attend on our website next week.
