Mohawks in action Friday at BrooklandPosted Thursday, December 10, 2009, at 1:38 PM
The Piggott junior and senior boys will be in action Friday evening at Brookland in the consolation bracket of the Pre-Holiday Tournament.
The junior boys fell 40-58 to Hoxie in their first round game and will play at 4:30 p.m. against the Weiner Cardinals. The senior Mohawks took on 4A Westside, and their star Hunter Mickelson Tuesday night, and dropped that game 34-68. That moved them into the consolation bracket as well. They'll be in action as soon as the junior game is complete, which should be around 6 p.m. Friday night. The Tribe will be taking on the Harrisburg Hornets, a squad that is just getting their season underway due to their football team being in the playoffs. A win by either team would move them into the consolation final on Saturday evening. |
