Are you enjoying the beautiful spring weather? We have had some marvelous days, or at least marvelous parts of some days. What we have had is a mish-mash of weather ever since spring sprung. It is either hot or cold or raining or the sun is shining. But we have been spared the tornados. This was a tragic weekend for the southern states. It leaves a lot of people cleaning up and some learning to live without a loved one. Here it has just been messy and I won't do much complaining about that.

How about having a SPOT OF TEA with ALICE this month. The Giant Puppets are returning to the Rector Community Center on April 25 and it looks like they are bringing the Mad Hatter and White Rabbit and maybe some others from Alice's Wonderland trip. This promises to be a stunning show that children and adults will enjoy. Elementary school groups are welcome and teachers are encouraged to bring their students. There will be two shows open to the public. So, make plans to come watch the show. 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25. Tickets are a bargain at $5.00.

Take a look at the www.rectorarkansas.com website from time to time. You might want to take a look and let me know if your organization has anything going on that you want to put on the city calendar or if there is anything incorrect. The more we have on the city-wide calendar the less chance we have of encountering a conflict.
