Yep. It’s summer. Warmer weather has brought out the birds and the bees and plenty of other critters. There are bird nests under construction everywhere I look. Already there are some nests with babies in them. They make a pretty good racket about sunrise every day too, in case you’re listening.
Hayden Crancer, and Emma Bucy and their Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Louie are making quite a name for themselves. Already, a very decorated little dog, Louie won Best In Show all three days at the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club Show in Atlanta this past weekend. It is not the first time Louie has won a trifecta either. He just added to his collection of ribbons and trophies. Congratulations to Hayden, Emma and to Louie.
Mary Taylor passed last week. Please keep her family in your thoughts. She will be missed in Rector.

I want to send my condolences to the families of the Santa Fe, Texas High School students and faculty who were attacked on Friday, the 22nd school shooting this year, the 4th this month. This was personal for me because it is near where I was raised and I know people who went to that school. Every school shooting is worse than the last one, because we keep allowing them to happen. The damage is further reaching than those hit by the bullets and shrapnel. Every student in that school has been traumatized and will carry the scars for years. They will not return as the same person they were prior to the shooting. We must stop the slaughter of our children.
I guess it’s time for me to put this to bed. School’s out so watch out for children playing.
Let me know what is going on in your life and I will share it with everyone else. Email: firstname.lastname@example.org . Phone number (870) 595-4997.
