Pre-registration deadline approachesPosted Thursday, April 16, 2009, at 12:33 PM
Hundreds of classic and custom cars and trucks participate in the annual cruise through Piggott, in conjunction with the annual car show. This scene from last year's event illustrates how the crowd gets to see the vehicles both coming and going...
Prior to that date the entry fee is $30, and afterward it will be $35. Each paid car registration includes--free parking inside Heritage Park, two tickets to the Saturday evening meal (additional meal tickets are $7)and a chance to be judged for Best of Show, People's Choice and the Ladies Choice prizes. All entries are also invited to take part in the annual cruise through town on Saturday night, an event that normally attracts a crowd of several thousand spectators and car enthusiasts. There will also be live entertainment that evening on the square in downtown Piggott, along with a variety of concessions. A number of local businesses will also be open that evening for the occasion. Those wanting more information may call the Piggott Area Chamber of Commerce at 870 598-3671, or log-on to the car show website at www.piggottcarshow.com |
