Annual Lawrence County Fair show set

The 22nd annual Lawrence County Fair Auto Show will be held Saturday, Aug. 21 at Imboden. Registration will be going on from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the entry fee is $15 for each vehicle. Organizers noted that the first 150 entrants will get a dash plaque.

First, second and third place trophies will be awarded at 3 p.m. and a trophy will be given for the best teenage entry.

Entertainment will be provided by J.R. Rogers and the All Star Band.

There is no admission charged for the public, and everyone is invited to bring their lawn chairs and attend.

The 12th annual Piggott Heritage Park Car Show will be held Saturday, May 22 and is expected to attract hundreds of classic and custom cars again this year. Those wanting more information may call the Piggott Area Chamber of Commerce at 870 598-3167.
