Pollard picnic 2008

Brittany Hobbs of Piggott wears the badge of a true bubble gum bubble blowing champ...a thin layer of bubble gum. Brittany won the annual contest, second was her sister Elizabeth.

Taylor Covert of Piggott (center) was crowned Miss Pollard 2008 from a field of 40 entries. First alternate was Katy Strickland (left) of Piggott and second alternate was Sarah Fannin of Rector. The field of contestants included both last year's Miss Piggott and Miss Clay County (Fannin) and this year's Miss Piggott Amber Rose Moore.

The final event of each year's picnic is the drawing. Taking care of it this were, from left: Gary Conley, Charles Morrisett and Barbara Harmon.
