A large crowd turned out for the 2008 St Francis picnic on Saturday, July 19, to benefit the Hall and Gravel Hill cemeteries.

Years ago all the local picnics had Kiddie Cars, the ones at St Francis remain and are antiques.
Kids of all sizes enjoyed the annual picnic, and the swings.
The bingo stand remained active all day thanks to interested players like these guys.
The morning saw a good crowd for the opening ceremonies and the first of the day's contests and pageants.
Picnics are always a great time to catch up with old friends, and make new ones.
The crowd awaits the winner of the Toddler contest at the annual picnic last Saturday in St. Francis.

While some played bingo and visited, others just enjoyed the day.
