State Rep. Mike Patterson of Piggott (right) brought a group of officials to the Cache River Bridge on Highway 135 in January. Among the pictured are Clay County Judge Gary Howell (with black cowboy hat) and John Moran with Gov. Mike Beebe's office (between Patterson and Howell).

Not an easy picture to take. A semi truck drives across the narrow bridges over the Cache River north of Hooker. The span pictured was built in 1929, and officials hope to bid the project to replace it by October.
