WALNUT RIDGE -- In a clash of Greyhounds Marmaduke easily raced past Sloan-Hendrix 85-53 in an opening round game of the Williams Baptist College (WBC) High School Invitational Tournament Saturday night at Walnut Ridge. Last Tuesday evening the Marmaduke Greyhounds defeated county rival Paragould 65-55 on the road to improve their record to 9-2 for the season. The Hounds had quarter leads of 14-8, 24-23 and 42-32. John Clark led in scoring with 22 points. He also had 11 rebounds. Shane Jordan had 15 points and 10 rebounds. Josh Bateman and 13 points and 10 assists. Kenneth Barnham had 8 points and 4 rebounds.
