Four Rector residents were arrested on drug-related charges following a search Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 9, conducted by the Clay County Sheriff's Department, Rector Police Department and probation/parole officers. Orville Miller, 30, of 107 Indian Hills, Apartment 21, was charged with possession of methamphetamine (meth), attempt to manufacture meth, possession of instrument of a crime and possession of a controlled substance after the first search, conducted at Miller's apartment. ...

The Marmaduke Greyhounds fell victim to a second half surge as they hosted the Yellowjackets of Bay on Friday, Nov. 12, losing by the score of 74-70 in the tightly contested ballgame.
