Clifton Boyce Bateman, 80, of Apopka, Fla., formerly of Rector, went to be with his Heavenly Father on May 20. He was born Sept. 22, 1929, to the late Cecil and Dolphia (McLeskey) Bateman in the Clay County area. He served as a Deacon and Sunday School teacher for many years.
