Junior high in action, local senior high football teams idle this week

Joyce Lee Tweedy, 76, of Piggott, Ark., left this earth peacefully on September 17, 2014, at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark. She was born on January 16, 1938, and was the daughter of the late Edgar and Eva Lee McDowell. She was united in marriage to Willard Earl Tweedy on Sept. 23, 1955, and to this union two daughters were born...
