Wayne Hilton Mullins, 84 of Knob, Ark., was born Oct. 21, 1930, at Knob to Charley Seymour Mullins and Lucy (Perkins) Mullins. Wayne was the last survivor of 12 siblings. Preceding him in death, besides his parents, Charley Mullins and Lucy (Perkins) Mullins, were eight brothers, Elbert Mullins, Edward Mullins, Owen (Polly) Mullins, Lester Mullins, Milton Mullins, Alton Mullins, Burnis Mullins and Wilburn (Moon) Mullins and three sisters, Cleda Mullins Andrews, Juanita Mullins Toler and Reba Mullins Howton.. ...

Opal Wells, 81, of Rector, passed away January 25, 2015 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould. She is survived by two children, Charles Wells and Phyllis M. Wells, both of Rector. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 28, at the Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Scott Small officiating.
