Jewell "Jude" Robinson
Jewell "Jude" Robinson, 88, of McDougal died Saturday, March 23, 2002, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.
He was born May 2, 1913, in Peach Orchard, the son of the late Albert and Pearl Reynolds Robinson.
He married Edith Parrish on Sept. 12, 1931, in McDougal. She preceded him in death on July 23, 1987.
He was a farmer and a member of the Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in McDougal.
He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Ernie, Dell, J.T., and Frenchie Robinson, and two sisters, Gladys Robinson and Lillie Holcomb.
He is survived by two daughters, Zelda Hicks of Corning and Janice Rigdon of McDougal; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 26, at Irby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Danny Self officiating.
Burial was in Post Oak Cemetery near McDougal with Irby Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Delmar Rigdon, Doyne Neeley, Jerry Little, Marshall Little, Mike Ward, and Bill Nossett.
Honorary pallbearers were Jack Forrest and Devon Young.
