Mohawks fall to Gosnell

The Piggott Mohawks fell to the Gosnell Pirates in a road game Monday night, 18-2 in five innings.

Joe Blascoe led Piggott offensively going two for two with a double. Dillon Cate hit safely for the Mohawks with a double and a run scored in the third inning. John Midkiff added with a single and James Cox had one run scored in the third.

Piggott also lost a three-inning B game, 4-2.

Gary Boozer, Tray Rigdon and Craig Dollins all had hits for Piggott in the effort.

The Mohawks were slated to play Corning Tuesday night in a doubleheader and will host Rector on Friday at Independence Park.
