Flossie Walker Parrott

Flossie Walker Parrott, 97, of Piggott died Saturday, June 14, 2003, in the Piggott Community Hospital.

She was born November 30, 1905, the daughter of the late George Washington and Melissa Hardy Walker.

She was united in marriage to Poolie Parrott in 1923, he preceded her in death in 1973.

She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Charlie Walker, Roy Walker, Rube Walker and Frank Walker; and one sister, Trillis Smith.

Mr. Parrott is survived by one nephew, Harold Smith of Franklin, Tn. (who was like a son to her); other nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2003, in the Hoggard and Sons Chapel with Rev. John Blevins officiating. Burial followed in the Piggott Cemetery. Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of the arrangments.
