Carlene Scheffler

She was born July 18, 1935, at Greenway to Vernon D. and Nora Williams Featherston.

She was united in marriage to Everett D. Scheffler. Mrs. Scheffler was a homemaker and a member of the Second Baptist Church in Festus.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon D. and Nora Featherston; two brothers, Vernon D. Featherston, Jr., and her twin, Carlos Featherston; and one sister, Mozella Hinkle.

She is survived by her spouse, Everett D. Scheffler of Festus; one daughter, Becky Klassen and her husband, Robert, of Dallas; two sons, Charles Scheffler of Atlanta and Al Scheffler and his wife, Nancy, of Festus; five brothers and their wives, Raymond and Evalean Featherston, Wayne and Mae Dean Featherston, J.B. and Grace Featherston, Don and Sue Featherston, and James and Carolyn Featherston, who are all of Piggott; one sister, Vonnell Dickerson of Sims, Ark.; and 10 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 20, 2003, at the Second Baptist Church in Festus with Rev. Leonard Himes and Rev. Randy Casey officiating. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, June 20, 2003, at the Piggott Cemetery in Piggott.
