Mabel Stewart

Mabel Stewart, 90, of Manila died July 12, 2003, at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.

She was born July 24, 1912, in Pollard, the daughter of Joe and Donna Settlemoir Brady.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Stewart; one daughter, Lois Hillis; one son-in-law, Asa Hillis; two brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by two daughters, Yvonne Mason and her husband, Paul, of Manila and Bonnie Thompson of St. Francis; five grandchildren, Micheal Hillis, Judy Cole, Gavin Dye, Theresa Thompson and Jeffery Pearson; six great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 15, 2003, in the Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Piggott. Burial followed in Piggott Cemetery. Irby Funeral Service of Piggott was in charge of the arrangements.
