Mildred Phillips

She was born Nov. 23, 1928, in Hickoria, Ark., to Bob and Anna Taylor Woods.

She was united in marriage to Donald Rex Phillips on Nov. 10, 1951. To this union two sons were born.

She was retired from Basler Electric, where she worked on the assembly line. She attended Smith Chapel Baptist Church in Boydsville, Ark.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Anna Woods; and one sister.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Rex Phillips, of the home; two sons, Kevin Phillips of Cabot, Ark., and Scott Phillips of Hope, Ark.; one brother, Donald Woods of Rockport, Tx.; and four grandchildren, Kirk, Kara, Nathan and Natalie.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, 2003, in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel in Corning with Rev. Ernie Rinks officiating. Burial followed in Salem Cemetery in Boydsville, Ark. Ermert Funeral Home of Corning was in charge of the arrangements.
