The daughter of J.D. and Louise Jones Wood, she was born May 13, 1947, in Heber Springs, Ark.
She was a 1965 graduate of Heber Springs High School. She was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
She was united in marriage to Cliff Underwood on Aug. 1, 1981, in Russellville.
She was preceded in death by her father, J.D. Wood.
She is survived by her husband, Cliff Underwood of Russellville; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jay and Laura Weatherford of Stuttgart, Ark., and Larry and Kim Underwood of Sherwood, Ark.; two daughters and a son-in-law, Leah and Jim Brown of Russellville and Mary Kay Conatser of Hurst, Tx.; eight grandchildren, J.D. and Shannon Brown of Russellville, Matthew and Logan Mitchell of Stuttgart, Jakey Weatherford of Stuttgart, Lauren Underwood of Sherwood, Logan Scott of Sherwood and Trey Conatser of Hurst, Tx.; her mother, Louise Wood of Russellville; a brother and a sister-in-law, Mike and Carol Wood of Russellville and a niece.
Memorial services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2003, at Humphrey Chapel with Rev. Danny Fudge officiating.
