Doyne Woods

Doyne Woods, 66, of Corning died Sunday, Aug. 3, 2003, at Three Rivers Healthcare North in Poplar Bluff.

He was born Nov. 14, 1936, in Hickoria, Ark., the son of Willie Thomas and Ida Madge Pemberton Woods.

He was united in marriage to Charlene Annitta Mayes on July 26, 1975, in Oxly, Mo.

Mr. Woods was a retired carpenter. He was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Thomas and Ida Madge Woods; and a brother, Junior Woods.

He is survived by his wife, Charlene Woods of Corning; one son, Ricky Woods of Elizabeth, Ark.; two daughters, Kim Hunt of Corning and Karen Harmon of Evening Shade, Ark.; one step-son, Robbie Crump of Sherwood, Ark.; one step-daughter, Paula Branum of Corning; one brother, Burlis Woods of Maryland Heights, Mo.; 16 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday (today), Aug. 6, 2003, in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel at Corning with Rev. Loy Culver and Rev. Lavern Reed officiating. Interment will follow in the Corning Cemetery in Corning.
