Roy (Trey) Grantham, III

Roy (Trey) Grantham, III, 19, of Crossett, died Saturday, Aug. 16, 2003, at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock.

He was born Sept. 13, 1983, in Flint, Mich.

He was a resident of Crossett for all of his life. He graduated from Crossett High School in 2002 and was a member of the Pine Forest Missionary Baptist Church. Mr. Grantham was an avid hunter and fisherman and he loved water skiing.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Roy Grantham, Sr., and Mary Mciver.

He is survived by his parents, Roy and Martha Ellis Grantham of Crossett; a sister, Krystal Watt of Crossett; and his maternal grandparents, Charles and Edith Ellis of Maynard.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2003, at the Pine Forest Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Donny Dubose officiating. Pallbearers were T.J. Watt, Jonathan and Nicholas Brockwell, Kevin Kilcrease, Tim Moody and Josh Jackson. Honorary pallbearer was Bobby Curry. Graveside services were held at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the New Hope Cemetery in Pollard under the direction of Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home of Hamburg.
