Larry Eugene Lane, 52, died Sunday, Aug. 10, 2003, in Lubbock, Tx.

Mr. Lane was born Nov. 2, 1950, in Ranger, Tx., to Roy and Ernestine Lane who preceded him in death. He was a graduate of Eastland High, Home of the Mavericks, and was an associate with Wrigley Gum Company for many years.

He was also preceded in death by one brother, James Lane; and one niece, Teresa Sutton.

Survivors include three daughters, Jennifer Wood and husband, Jason, Ashley Lauren Lane and Jamie Katrina (Kadee) Lane; three grandsons, Cameron, Zachary and Jaiden; one granddaughter, Tatum; two special friends, Sharon Lane and John Caston; five brothers, Roy Lane, Jr., and wife, Wanda, of Santa Maria, Ca., Charles Lane and wife, Phil, of Lubbock, Tx., Richard Lane and wife, Wanda, of Bakersfield, Ca., Bob Lane and wife, Jan, of Abilene, Tx., and Truman Lane and wife, Sue, of Gainesville, Tx.; four sisters, Margie Sutton and husband, Dean, of Abilene, Tx., Wanda Goble and husband, James, of Midkiff, Tx., Ernie Mae Bint of Anson, Tx., and Bonnie Whitaker and husband, Dale, of Anson, Tx.; 17 nieces; 11 nephews; 39 great-nieces and nephews; one great-great niece; and two aunts, Mrs. Aline Weatherford of Miles, Tx., and Mrs. Bill Feist of Comanche, Tx.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2003, at Highland Baptist Church in Lubbock, Tx.
