Argel Vyrdane Morrow

Argel Vyrdane Morrow of McDougal died Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2003, in the Regional Medical Center of Northeast Arkansas in Jonesboro.

He was born Dec. 13, 1939, in McDougal, the son of the late Homer and Jewell Green Morrow.

He was united in marriage to Patricia Ann Read on Sept. 17, 1960. To this union four children were born.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann, in 1999; one sister; and one brother.

He is survived by four children, Reo Morrow of Belleville, Mich., Troy Morrow, Jacquita Anderson of Piggott and Annetta Kennedy of Marmaduke; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, 2003, in the Hoggard and Sons Chapel with Loy Culver officiating. Burial followed in New Hope Cemetery in Pollard. Pallbearers were Jerry Anderson, Logan Morrow, John Kennedy, Dan Knoble, Travis Read and Eric Perkins.

Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of the arrangements.
