Tullin Melton, 69, of Marmaduke, died Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2003, in the Green Acres Nursing Home in Paragould.
She was born June 6, 1934, in Pollard. The daughter of the late Vernie and Verna Morris Parrish.
She was united in marriage to Don Thurman Melton on June 28, 1954. To this union one daughter was born.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Don, on Sept. 6, 1995; and one brother, Tarrel Parrish.
She is survived by one daughter, Teresa Donette White and her husband, Dewey, of Marmaduke; one grandson, Michael W. White of Paragould; four great-grandchildren, Amber White of Caraway, Mika White of Jonesboro and Mikayla and McKenzie White, both of St. Louis; one great-great-granddaughter, Madison Wiggins of Caraway; one brother, Darrel Parrish of Jonesboro; three sisters, Joyce Pfeifer of Jonesboro, Brenda Garver of Success, and Crela Parrish Success; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12, 2003, in the Hoggard and Sons Chapel with Danny Self and Adrian Parker officiating. Burial followed in the Post Oak Cemetery in McDougal. Pallbearers were Garland Mark Steele, Neal Spicer, Marty Parrish, Aldon Kilbreath, Russell Kilbreath and Marvin Kilbreath. Honorary pallbearers were Don Dillard and Jack Forrest.
Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of the arrangements.
