Beth A. Staggs McDonald

Mrs. McDonald was born Feb. 5, 1920, to Elbert and Hollie Irwin Staggs in McDougal.

She married Hoyt McDonald on Nov. 12, 1976, in Wichita, Ks.

Mrs. McDonald was a former Bank IV credit collections office clerk. She was a member of the Wichita Business and Professional Women's Club.

She is survived by one son, Jim Root and wife, Karen, of Wichita, Ks.; and two grandchildren, Holly Root and William Root, both of Wichita, Ks.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2003, at Plymouth Congregational Church in Wichita, Ks. Burial followed at New Hope Cemetery in Pollard.
