William Dennis "Perk" Gribble

William Dennis "Perk" Gribble of Charlotte, North Carolina, formerly of Pollard, died in Charlotte on Nov. 7, 2003.

He was born near Crockett on Jan. 30, 1924, and retired from Seimans Pelton and Crane after 31 years. His favorite activities were fishing and rabbit and squirrel hunting.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Doris King Gribble; two sisters, Lorene Alexander and Eloice Grider of Piggott; two brothers, Dwight Gribble of Garden City, Mich., and Cletus Gribble and wife, Vickie, of Godfrey, Ill.; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews and other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday (today), Nov. 19, 2003, at New Hope Baptist Church with Loy Culver officiating.

Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott is in charge of the arrangements.
