George Franklin Jordan, 70, of Piggott died Monday, Nov. 17, 2003, at his home in Piggott.

He was born Nov. 1, 1933, in McDougal, the son of the late Dorris and Lena Easley Jordan.

He was united in marriage to Nancy Jo Helton on May 30, 1953, to this union one son was born.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Jo Jordan of Piggott; one son, Randall Kevin Jordan and wife, Kathy, of Taylor, Mich.; three grandchildren, Ryan Kevin Jordan, Matthew Terry Jordan and Eric Michael Jordan; two brother, Jim Jordan of Piggott and John T. (Jack) Jordan of Taylor, Mich.; three sisters, Janice King of Anchorage, Alaska, Nancy Jean Simpson of Piggott and Delores Evelyn Judd of Binghamton, New York; special sister-in-law, Sue Helton Jordan of Piggott; several nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, 2003, in the Hoggard and Sons Chapel with Leon King officiating. Burial will follow in the Piggott Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Paul Allison, Bob Ward, Don Simpson, David Judd, Ryan Jordan and Matthew Jordan. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday (today).
