William G. Story

Mr. Story was a native of Arkansas. He had lived in Caldwell since 1960, and previously lived in Waterford from 1943-51 and in Modesto from 1955-56. He was a pharmacist. He attended Modesto Junior College and was a graduate of Idaho State University. He was master mason of the Mount Mirah Masonic Lodge 29 in Caldwell. He served in the Air Force from 1951-55. He enjoyed the outdoors.

He is survived by his wife, Alice Rhoades Story of Caldwell; one daughter, Brenda Phelan of Caldwell; a brother, Leon Story of Modesto; a sister, Gwinna DeLeon of Modesto; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Friday at Caldwell United Methodist Church, with inurnment at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Flahiff Funeral Chapel was in charge of the arrangements.
