Brosia B. Malone

Brosia B. Malone, 85, of Piggott died Sunday, Dec. 14, 2003, in the General Baptist Nursing Center in Campbell.

She was born Feb. 1, 1918, in Rector to the late Porter and Dollie Eldridge Brashear.

She was united in marriage to John C. Malone on Feb. 3, 1966. He preceded her in death on Nov. 16, 1999.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church and a member of the New Piggott Chapter #623 Order of the Eastern Star.

Preceding her in death were and infant brother and sister and one brother, Aubrey Brashear.

She is survived by a step-daughter, Marilyn Turner and husband, Lamar; grandson Chris Jones and wife, Amy; and one great-granddaughter, Kendall Jones, all of Abbeville, Ala.; one brother, John Brashear of Houston, Texas; and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 15, 2003, in the Hoggard and Sons Chapel with Charles Carrens officiating. Burial was in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector.
