Leland Cole Sells, 18, of Piggott died Wednesday, May 19, 2004, in the Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott.
He was born Nov. 16, 1985, in Paragould, the son of Larry Sells and Kathy O'Bryant Mauldin.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ruth and William O'Bryant; maternal great-grandparents, Benton and Artie Lacey; and his paternal great-grandparents, Lewis and Bessie Sells.
He is survived by his father, Larry Sells of Piggott; mother, Kathy Mauldin of Boydsville; paternal grandfather, Floyd Sells of Clarksville, Ark.; paternal grandmother, Mary Page of Bangor, Mich.; four sisters, Cassandra Sells and Laura Sells, both of Piggott, and Amanda Sells and Lindsey Sells, both of Paragould; one brother, Daniel Granger O'Bryant of Piggott; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 23, 2004, in the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Piggott with Bro. Kevin Murray and Todd Milburn officiating. Pallbearers were Daniel Granger, Joe Busby, Adam Hackworth, Andy Graves, Steven Graves, John Tucker, Jason Davis and Dennis Linsley. Burial followed in the Post Oak Cemetery in McDougal.
Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of the arrangements.
