Canine Contest winners named

Winners in the annual Clay County Fair Canine Contest were announced Saturday afternoon. Canine Queen Nellie (left), owned by Neely Harris of Malden, is a three and a half-month-old Chihuahua. The Clay County Fair Canine Contest winners in each category were as follows:

Most Photogenic went to Sampson, owned by Jack Stephens. Second place went to Tank. Tank is also owned by Stephens. Third place went to Tiny, who is owned by Lacy Grammer.

Cutest Puppy went to Nellie, owned by Neely Harris. Second place went to Zoey, owned by Jack Stephens. Third place went to Razja, who is also owned by Neely Harris.

Best Personality went to Max, owned by Natalie Branscum. Second place went to Ellie Mae, owned by Tammy Taylor. Third place went to Memphis, owned by Drake Featherson.

Prettiest Eyes went to Razja, owned by Neely Harris. Second place went to Ellie Mae, owned by Tammy Taylor. Third place was Tiny, owned by Lacy Grammer.

Best Tail Wagger went to Zoey, owned by Jack Stephens. Second place went to Cade, owned by Laura Jardeen. Third place went to Memphis, owned by Drake Featherson.

Most Talented went to Max, owned by Natalie Branscum. Second place went to BoBo, owned by Kindal Risinger. Third place went to Cade, owned by Laura Jardeen.

Fluffiest went to Buffy, owned by Kindal Risinger. Second place went to Snowball, owned by Jenny Campbell. Third place went to Piper, owned by Karen Bageant.

Canine Queen is Nellie, owned by Neely Harris. Second place went to Ellie Mae, owned by Tammy Taylor. Third place went to Penelope, owned by Drake Featherson.

Canine King is Cade, owned by Laura Jardeen. Second place went to Max, owned by Natalie Branscum. Third place went to Tank, owned by Jack Stephens.
