She was born Sept. 3, 1910, the daughter of the late Jacob and Floria Mae Bare in Piggott.
Mrs. Taylor, a long time resident of Malden, was a member of the First Christian Church for many years. An important part of her life was music and many Malden natives will remember her piano music at the church and other functions in the area.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris T. Taylor; two brothers, Robert and Hubbard Bare; and one sister, Mae Gnarro.
She is survived by her son, Morris R. Taylor and wife, Mary Beth, of Jemez Pueblo, New Mexico; a daughter, Rhonda Smith and husband, Jimmie, of Jacksonville; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2, 2005, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden. Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 3, 2005, in the Park Cemetery in Malden.
