She was born on May 8, 1925, in Crockett, the daughter of the late Barney Richard and Ilah Bertha Goodwin Morrisett.
She married Doyle M. Parrish in May of 1943. He preceded her in death in 1944. She married Harrison Houston Spinks on October 5, 1946. He preceded her in death in 2002.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Morrisett and Norman Morrisett.
She is survived by two sons, Eldon Parrish and wife, Diane, of Piggott and Don Spinks and wife, Rebecca, of Newport, Minn.; six grandchildren, Scott, Sean, Leah, Leslie, Randy and Gavin; four great grandchildren, Bentley, Kyle, Chelsey and Matthew; two sisters, Lorene Petty of Piggott and LouVinnie Bradberry of McDougal; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 22, 2005, in the Hoggard and Sons Chapel with Mike Chadwick officiating. Burial was held in the New Hope Cemetery in Pollard.
Pallbearers were Russell Bradberry, Dewayne Bradberry, Charles Morrisett, Donald Wilkes, Doyce Spinks and Lonnie Harmon.
Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of the arrangements.
