Wonedith Taylor Faulk

Wonedith Taylor Faulk, 82, of Jonesboro died early Friday morning, June 17, 2005, at her residence following a lengthy illness.

She was born Dec. 12, 1922, in Lawrence County, the daughter of Willie and Hannah Madden Taylor. Mrs. Faulk was a homemaker and a member of the Assembly of God Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her former husbands, Curtis Foster and Ray Faulk; a son, Lewayne Foster; two sisters, Emmie Ferguson and Floedith Taylor; and seven brothers, Roy Taylor, Jesse Taylor, Bob Taylor, Zeke Taylor, Bill Taylor, Gene Taylor and Lee Taylor.

Mrs. Faulk is survived by a son, J.R. Foster and his wife, Dorothy, of Garland, Texas; a daughter, Jean Swann and her husband, Burr, of Jonesboro; four grandchildren, Deborah Lace and her husband, Mike, of Garland, Texas, Nancy Felts and her husband, Marty, of Eugene, Oreg., Brock Swann and his wife, Jeri Lynn, of Piggott and Tonya Coomer and her husband, Dane, of Piggott; three great-granddaughters; two great-grandsons; two sisters, Louvell Duncan of Swifton and Lutresha Cates of Lebanon, Mo.; a brother, Woodrow Taylor of Cloverbend; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 19, 2005, in the Bryan Funeral Home Chapel with Brock Swann officiating. Pallbearers were Tony Taylor, Jim Taylor, Gary Taylor, Phil Taylor, David Cates and Wendell Saffell. Burial followed in the Clover Bend Cemetery.

Bryan Funeral Home of Hoxie was in charge of the arrangements.
