Gary Ballard, 47, of Pollard died Monday, Nov. 7, 2005, at his home.

He was born June 20, 1958, the son of the late Freeman and Deloris Campbell Ballard. He was raised by Ralph and Marie Trout.

He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard and Leroy.

He is survived by five brothers, Joe Ballard of Piggott, Terry Ballard of Pocahontas, Freddy Ballard of Pocahontas, Don Trout of Paragould and Dave Trout of Pollard; four sisters, Carol Martin of Pollard, Donna Bates of Trumann, Janice Chandler of Pollard and Laverne Nicholas of Brighton, Mich.; and a nephew, Matthew Ballard of Piggott; and many other relatives and friends.

Graveside services were held on Thursday, Nov. 10, 2005, in the Cummins Chapel Cemetery with Loy Culver officiating. Burial followed in the Cummins Chapel Cemetery.

Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of the arrangements.
