Floy E. Stewart

Floy E. Stewart, 88, of Piggott, died Sunday, Dec. 24, 2006, at Pine Lane Healthcare in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

She was born Sept. 3, 1918, in Piggott, and was the daughter of the late Charles and Dovie (Johnson) Elder.

She was united to marriage to Everette "Shorty" Stewart on Sept. 7, 1934.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Everette, and an infant daughter.

She is survived by her sons, Robert Stewart and wife Joan of Mountain Home, and Charles Stewart and wife Suzanne of Fort Meyers, Fla.; her daughter, Mary Sue Grasso and husband Mike of Brooksville, Fla.; and many other friends and relatives.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 4, in the Piggott Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Piggott. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott will be in charge of the arrangements.
