Miss Manly Mohawk 2007 crowned at PHS

The PHS gym was packed last Wednesday afternoon, for the 2007 "Manly Miss Mohawk" pageant, which raised over $350 for the Lady Mohawk softball team.

Twenty contestants were featured in this year's pageant, representing all four grades at the high school. This year's Mistresses of Ceremonies were Jessica Ingram and Erica Redman, while reigning queen Shawn "Barbara Jean Sugarbaker" Hearn viewed the proceedings from her throne of honor. Entertainment was provided by Marching Mohawk percussionists Chris Burns and Steven Redmon,

The top five were; fourth alternate Michael "Destiny Michelle" Ely, third alternate was Jonathan "Eva" Wright, second alternate was Justin "Maria" Howell, first alternate was Michael "Gina Love" Morgan, while the queen's crown went to Daniel "Madonna" Baldwin.

The judges for this year's "Miss Manly Mohawk" pageant were from Poplar Bluff, and wish to remain anonymous for obvious reasons.
