Martha Jane Leggett

Martha Jane Leggett, 82, died on June 24, 2007 in Memphis. Born June 4, 1925 in Piggott, she was the daughter of Eric A. and Ruth A. Parrish. She was a former resident of Piggott and Las Vegas, Nev.

Survivors include a son, Thomas P. Leggett of Little Rock; four grandchildren, Meredith Rogowski and her husband, Christopher, of Evanston, Ill., Thomas J. Leggett and his wife, Michelle, of New Orleans, Susan Leggett of Little Rock, and Helen Ruth Leggett of Dallas; one great-grandchild, Ashlyn Rogowski; and a sister, Gerry Zieske of Seattle, Wash.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas W. Leggett, Jr.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 28, at Memorial Park in Memphis. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to Methodist Hospice, 6423 Shelby View Dr., Memphis, TN 38134, or a charity of your choice.
