Charles Moore Williams

Charles Moore Williams passed away suddenly at his home in Texas on December 5, 2007. He was born in Madison County, Tenn. on March 16, 1943, the eldest son of Hazel and Emmett Williams.

He attended schools in Madison County and graduated from Lambuth College and Southeast Missouri State University.

His teaching career spanned 37 years, starting with schools in Missouri and ending with Royal Middle School where he taught 6th grade world history .

He is survived by his wife Sue Williams; his mother Hazel Williams; sons Charles M. Jr., and Thomas J.Williams; daughter Ouida Williams; grandson LoganWilliams; and brother Mark Williams and his wife Charlotte of Flowery Branch, Ga., along with two nieces, four nephews and several cousins.

Charles was preceded in death by his father Emmett Williams in 1984 and his brother Emmett Williams Jr. in 2005.

Funeral Services were held at the Schmidt Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, Dec. 8, with Father David DuBois presiding. Burial followed in the Pattison Cemetery in Pattison.
