Juanita Bell Gibson

Juanita Bell Gibson, 81, of St. Francis died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2008, at the General Baptist Nursing Home in Campbell.

She was born Oct. 7, 1926, in Mounds City, Ill., the daughter of the late Scott and Carrie Trammell Craft.

She was united in marriage to Dennis F. "Slim" Gibson on Dec. 4, 1943.He preceded her in death in 1998.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Jean Rodgers and Novella Cornelison.

She is survived by three sons, Wayne Gibson and wife Carol of O'Fallon, Mo., Bob Gibson and friend Shiela of St. Peters, Mo., Keith Gibson and wife Brenda of Piggott; five grandchildren, Terri, Dewayne, Rob, Jeff and Aaron; three step-grandchildren, Kathy, Sam, and Roy; three great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Samantha and Sabryn; two sisters, Lula Middleton and Nell Brown; a brother, Bud Craft, and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Friday, Feb. 15, in the Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home with Ted Winberry officiating. Burial was in Gravel Hill Cemetery in St. Francis. Pallbearers were Wayne, Bob, Keith, Dewayne, Jeff, Aaron, and Rob Gibson. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of the arrangements.
