The event is being planned for Saturday, March, 15, and will be held in the old Piggott High School gym. Registration is set to get underway at 9 a.m., followed by the first round of an old fashioned "Pig" tournament at 10:00. The "Pig" tournament is open to all, and the competition will be broken down into various age groups.
From 1:30 till 3 p.m. there will be a free-throw competition, and from 3:30 till 5 p.m. there will be an open "hot shot" competition.
At 7 p.m. a group of regional "All Stars" will take to the floor for the main event. And at halftime of the game the various awards and trophies from the day will be handed-out.
During the halftime break Rickman and her family will be honored, and the proceeds from the event will be presented. The former PHS standout athlete has been battling a brain tumor since late last year, and has just recently completed treatment at St. Jude's in Memphis.
Organizers promise fun for fans of all ages, and anyone who would like more information may call Billy Joe Seal at 324-0681 or Tim Blair at 324-0613.
