Dorothy Elizabeth Montgomery

Dorothy Elizabeth Montgomery, 85, of Paragould, formerly of Blytheville, died Friday, Feb. 29, 2008, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould.

She was born Aug. 1, 1922, in Shawneetown, Ill., the daughter of the late William and Nell Bradley Reid. She was a homemaker and attended Southside Community Church in Paragould.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Montgomery, and her step-father, James Price.

She is survived by her children, Dottie Montgomery of Paragould, Renee Gardner and husband Allen of Paragould, and Brad Montgomery and wife Joyce of Piggott; her grandchildren, Jordan Gardner, Josh Gardner and his wife Nichole and their daughter Camdyn (expected in June), all of Paragould, and Rodney Young and his wife Becky of Piggott; and a great-grandchild, Danielle Huffstetler.

Graveside services were held Sunday, March 2, in the Elmwood Cemetery at Blytheville with the Rev. Wayne Faulkner officiating.
