Jennie Bridgeforth Lambeth

Jennie Bridgeforth Lambeth, 92, of St. Francis died Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at the General Baptist Nursing Home in Campbell.

She was born Feb. 22, 1916, in Malden, and was the daughter of the late Hartwell Brown and Anna Blades Bridgeforth.

She was united in marriage to Claude Lambeth. He preceded her in death.

She lived in Durant, Okla., for many years before moving to St. Francis in 1996. She has been a member of the St. Francis Baptist Church since 1996.

She was preceded in death by six sisters, Pansy Burris, Gertrud Granger, Pauline Langley, Louise Holloway, Aline Cooper and Mary Torbit, and three brothers, Carmel Bridgeforth, Hildra Bridgeforth, and H.B. Bridgeforth.

She is survived by a sister, Wilma Sparks of Seward, Alaska; a brother, Harold Gene Bridgeforth of Flint, Mich., and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were held Monday, March 17, in Hall Cemetery near St. Francis with Donald Houston officiating. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of the arrangements.
