Ruby H. Huffman

Ruby H. Huffman, 71, of Greenway, died Wednesday, March 26, 2008, at the General Baptist Nursing Home in Campbell.

She was born Aug. 18, 1936, the daughter of the late Clarence Mack and Erma Bell Huffman.

She was a member of the Greenway Baptist Church in Greenway.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Mimia Downham, and four brothers, Howard, Harold, Marion and Roy Huffman.

Survivors include a daughter, Nina Michelle McIver of Searcy; two grandchildren, Lisa and Jason McIver; two sisters, Dortha McMillion of Holcomb, and Erma Jean Eubanks of Kennett; her close friend and companion, John Mitchem, and many other relatives and friends.

Services were held Saturday, March 29, in the Hoggard and Sons Chapel with Brian Shearer officiating. Burial was in Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway. Pallbearers were Ronnie Eubanks, Davey Eubanks, Nick McMillon, John Mitchem, Richard Mitchem and Jason McIver. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott was in charge of the arrangements.
