James D. "Jim" Jordan

James D. "Jim" Jordan, 77, of Piggott died Monday, March 24, 2008, in the Piggott Community Hospital.

He was born Aug. 10, 1930, the son of the late Dorris and Lena Easley Jordan.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Jordan; two sisters, Betty Lou Jordan and Geraldine Jordan, and a brother, George Jordan.

Survivors include a daughter, Vicky Meade and husband Jerome of Piggott; three sisters, Janice King of Anchorage, Alaska, Nancy Jean Simpson of Piggott, and Delores Judd of Binghamton, N.Y.; a brother, John T. "Jack" Jordan of Taylor, Mich., and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Friday, March 28, 2008, at Hoggard and Sons Chapel with Joe Payne officiating. Burial was in Piggott Cemetery. Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
