Beatrice Gilbee, 74, of Marmaduke died Friday, June 22, 2001, at Arkansas Methodist Hospital in Paragould.
She was born July 11, 1926, in Piggott to the late George S. and Lillie Eleanor Taylor Bradshaw and was married April 19, 1947, in Piggott to Melbourne Gilbee. She had lived most of her life in the community. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Floyd, Loyd, Ebert and Jessie.
Survivors include her husband, Melbourne Gilbee of the home; two sons, Vaud Leon Gilbee and William Earl Gilbee, both of Marmaduke; three daughters, Martha Ann Lane of Grass Lake, Mich., Darlene Ciminelli of Marmaduke and Pamela Jo Causey of Paragould; one brother, M.A. Bradshaw of Corning; two sisters, Evelyn Kilbreath of McDougal and Imogene Smith of Rector; 14 grandchildren, Leroy, Edward, Tina, Anna, Linda, Sheryl, Jim, John, Justin, Tommy, Kirt, Amanda, Kimberly and Kristopher, and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 24, at Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Rector with Rev. Robert DeBaun officiating. Burial was in New Hope Cemetery in Pollard with Irby Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Edward Gilbee, Jim Gilbee, John Gilbee, Justin Gilbee, Tommy Ciminelli, Kirt Ciminelli, Danny Knuckles and James Shepard.
