Orvil Trammell

Orvil Trammell, 53, of Corning died April 21, 2003, at Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock.

He was born Oct. 15, 1949, in McDougal, the son of the late Fred Les Trammell and Ruby (Weaks) Trammel.

He married Sharon Kay Schefer on March 10, 1969.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Willie Trammell and Dub Trammel, and three sisters, Fronte Bopp, Pauline Tyson and Velma Marie Carpenter.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon, of Corning; two sons, Scott Trammell of Corning and Steve Trammell of Dexter; one brother, Gerald Trammell of Rector; three sisters, Bertha Lucas of Piggott, Wilma Jackson of Mountain Home, Geneva Schebor of Whitmore, Mich.; four grandchildren, Haley Elizabeth Mae Trammell of Corning, Danyelle Susan Roberson of Moline, Ill., and Nicholas Beaudoin and Reilly Elizabeth Trammell of Dexter.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 24, at New Hope Cemetery in Pollard with Jimmy McMasters officiating. Ermert Funeral Home of Corning was in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Jim Brown, Randall Trammell, Butch Trammell, Rick Hopkins, Brian Trammell and Craig Hopkins.

Honorary pallbearers were Gerald Trammell and Kenneth Trammell.
