Muriel Porter Bell, 78, of Walnut Ridge died Sunday May 4, 2003, at Walnut Ridge.

She was born March 15, 1925, in Dexter, Mo, the daughter of the late Bud and Sarah Porter

She was preceded in death by her husband, Allie Bell. She was of the Pentecostal faith.

She is survived by three sons, Allen Bell of Flushing, Mich., Richard Bell of Strawberry and Eddie Bell of Lynn; two daughters, Alta Mullins of Knob and Christine Judy White of Gant, Mich.; one brother, Truman Porter of Malden; 18 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 8, at Cantwell Cemetery near Corning with Bro. Kenny Burns officiating.

Mitchell Funeral Home of Rector was in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Jackie McNeely, Glen Tarpley, Alvin Mullins, Melvin Tarpley, Jeff Bell and Blake Vannada.
